 Welcome back all members of  SCA, as I pray that your summer vacation was well enjoyed with family and friends. Despite economic issues and financial woes for all Americans, a good time with family and a dip in the pool with friends is well overdue.

However, I welcome you back not to a position of where we were before took our summer break, but to the opportunity of our hearts desire, a Sunset Civic Association with Purpose and Unity. SCA past is filled with great ideas and desires from every member of the community that voice them at our meetings, but the misery of unfulfilled wishes and lack in communication with the residents of our great community has placed a dampener on all of our efforts to really make a difference in our children's lives. Therefore there is a real opportunity for change in our community. A chance to make REAL progress and to see ACTUAL results so that our residents can measure our success. I believe WE CAN implement programs and community activities that will inspire residents to take responsibility for their community and promote UNITY in the households and neighbors of SCA. PURPOSE and UNITY is our target for this fiscal year of SCA.

PURPOSE:Reform the structure of the SCA administration. Create more opportunities for member involvement in the auxiliaries of the Associations. Inspiring current membership with a key vision and a more defined mission.

UNITY:  A heavy push towards communication and involvement with the residents of Sunset Civic. Creating a team to implement monthly community activities and weekly interaction with members of the community and abroad. Proper usage of all social and media networks to keep our Association on top of the latest trends and needs of our family and friends of SCA.

Remember, It's YOUR neighborhood...let's take action together! Please come out and help us... help YOU!
